III MUESTRA INTERNACIONAL DE ARTE DIGITAL ORILLA#06

Con el objeto de instaurar un espacio abierto a las obras producidas y
ejecutadas con los recursos tecnológicos de última generación, y a las
nuevas estéticas originadas desde el arte digital, el Museo de Arte
Contemporáneo (MAC) de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral y el grupo
ANDAMIO CONTIGUO convocan a la III MUESTRA INTERNACIONAL DE ARTE DIGITAL
ORILLA#06.

BASES 

#01 CATEGORIAS

• Podrán presentarse obras en las siguientes categorías:
a) GRAFICA
b) VIDEO INSTALACION
c) NET-ART

#02 CONDICIONES GENERALES

• La convocatoria está abierta a artistas de cualquier nacionalidad.
• El número de obras a presentar es de un máximo de 2 (dos) en cada
categoría.
• Los autores son responsables de los derechos sobre sus obras.
• El material recibido no será devuelto.
• La presentación a la convocatoria supone la aceptación de estas bases.

#03 ENVIOS

• En todas las categorías el material será enviado por correo electrónico a
<mailto:mac en unl.edu.ar> mac en unl.edu.ar con la siguiente información: título
de la obra | autor | categoría | modo de realización | breve currículum |
domicilio | e-mail.
• En la categoría GRAFICA las obras se remitirán en un archivo JPG no
superior a 1 Mb. 
• En la categoría VIDEO INSTALACION se enviará un dossier detallando: marco
conceptual | contenido material | características de la proyección | montaje
| requisitos técnicos (aclarando exhaustivamente los que debería cubrir la
organización). También se adjuntarán imágenes de la propuesta terminada. La
totalidad del envío no será superior a 1 Mb. En esta categoría los artistas
deberán enviar por correo postal un DVD con el trabajo en video a:

• En la categoría NET-ART participarán obras diseñadas específicamente para
la red y actualmente on line, por lo tanto los artistas simplemente
indicarán la URL.
• La fecha límite de envío de las obras para su posterior selección será el
31 de Agosto de 2006. En el caso de los envíos postales para VIDEO
INSTALACIÓN será tenido en cuenta el matasello de correo, siempre y cuando
los envíos lleguen a Santa Fe antes del 15 de Septiembre de 2006.

#04 SELECCIÓN

• Los resultados de la selección serán publicados en
<http://www.andamiocontiguo.org> www.andamiocontiguo.org a partir del 01 de
Octubre de 2006.
• Los artistas seleccionados serán notificados por correo electrónico. En
dicha comunicación se informarán los detalles del envío de obras en el caso
que fuera necesario.
• Las obras seleccionadas serán expuestas del 09 de noviembre al 03 de
diciembre de 2006, en el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de la UNL de la ciudad
de Santa Fe, Argentina.
• Las obras que conformen ORILLA#06 serán exhibidas en el sitio web de
ANDAMIO CONTIGUO por el término de un año.

#05 JURADO

• Las obras participantes serán seleccionadas por un jurado calificado que
se dará a conocer una vez cerrada la convocatoria. 

#06 PREMIOS

• A los artistas premiados, mencionados y seleccionados se les remitirá un
CD-Catálogo de las obras, en el que figurarán el 1º Premio en cada categoría
y menciones especiales del jurado, con comentarios de las razones de la
premiación y mención de los mismos. La tapa del CD tendrá impreso el 1º
Premio de GRÁFICA.

III INTERNATIONAL EXHIBIT OF DIGITAL ART ORILLA#06

With the objective to install an open space for produced and executed works
with the technological resources of last generation, and to new aesthetics
originated from the digital art, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) of the
Universidad Nacional del Litoral and the artistic team ANDAMIO CONTIGUO call
to artists to take part in the III INTERNATIONAL EXHIBIT OF DIGITAL ART
ORILLA#06. 

TERMS

#01 CATEGORIES

• Works will be able to appear in the following categories:
a) GRAPHICAL
b) VIDEO INSTALLATION
c) NET-ART

#02 GENERAL CONDITIONS

• The call is open to artists of any nationality.
• The number of works to present is of a maximum of 2 (two) in each
category.
• The authors are responsible for the rights on their works.
• The received works will not be given back.
• The presentation to the call supposes the acceptance of these terms.

#03 SUBMISSIONS

• The art works of all categories will be sent by e-mail to

following information: title of the work | author | category | production
way | short biography | address | e-mail. 
• In GRAPHICAL category the works will be sent in a file JPG nonsuperior to
1 Mb. 
• In the VIDEO INSTALLATION category the artists will be sent a dossier with
the following information: material contents | characteristics of the
projection | technical assembly | requirements (clarifying exhaustive those
that would have to cover the organization). Also images of the finished
proposal will be enclosed. The totality of the shipment will not be superior
to 1 Mb. In this category the artists will have to send by postal mail a DVD
with the art work in video to:

• Works specifically designed for the net, at the moment on line, will
participate in NET-ART category, therefore the artists simply will indicate
the URL.
• Deadline for submissions for its later selection is 31 August 2006. In the
case of the postal shipments for VIDEO INSTALLATION will have to arrive
unfailingly before 15 September 2006.

#04 SELECTION

• The results of the selection will be published in
<http://www.andamiocontiguo.org> www.andamiocontiguo.org on 1 Octuber 2006.
• All the selected artists will be notified by e-mail. In this communication
we will indicate the details of the art work shipment in the cases in that
it was necessary.
• The selected works will be exposed as 09 of November to the 03 of December
of 2006, in the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) of the UNL of Santa Fe,
Argentina. 
• The works that conform ORILLA#06 will be exhibited in the Web site of
ANDAMIO CONTIGUO by the term of a year. 

#05 JURY

• The participant works will be selected by a jury that we will present
opportunely, to the closing of the call.

#06 AWARDS

• All the selected artists will receive a CD with the works that conform
ORILLA#06. In it will appear 1° Prize in each category and special mentions
of the jury, with commentaries of the reasons of the award and mention of
such. The cover of the CD will have form 1º Prize of GRAPHICAL.
